The Roman Catholic cathedral is the potential site of a showdown over the annual St. Patrick’s parade in this economically struggling former coal town: Martino said he’d cancel the traditional pre-parade Mass on Saturday March 14, 2009 if organizers honored an abortion-rights supporter — a warning seen by some to refer to native son Vice President Joe Biden.”
